This is a new lid with no hole for the thermocouple. This is a great addition if you have already drilled your original lid to make a Data Dome.
This lid has the new style of locking bead to keep the lid secure during a roast. With this you no longer need the locking clip.
There is great pleasure in roasting by senses alone, this allows you to have this experience without the wires.
